1. Go to load the luggage into the car at the same time the skies open up and downpour (yes, we HAVE been having a drought!)
2. As soon as the car is loaded and all passengers are soaked, the floods stop and the skies begin to clear.
3. Hit the highway and the driving rain begins again. Cannot see road. Where is Philly? When will we get there?
4. Manage to rush into airport only to have to wait extra long for boarding. Then wait on the tarmac because another plane is disabled on the runway. Then face the growing realization that we will miss our connecting flight in Houston because we're in the air more than an hour late.
5. Entire flight is spent in fear that we will be stranded in Houston overnight with two small children and lots of luggage. And thus will not get to Merida for the video shoot we have scheduled the next day. And will let down all the poor little Mexican children who want to be "on TV" in their costumes. Jenn orders a Corona.
6. Land in Houston with mere minutes to spare before our connecting flight takes off. Drag children through airport in mad panic. Make the gate just in time. Woo hoo!
